Flight departed on time, only 117 passengers, barely anyone in economy, several empty seats in premium and upper class. There were no notices at check-in offering upgrades into premium or upper class, I tried to pay into the lounge at JFK and was told it was to busy so i assumed that upper class was full. This was a missed opportunity for Virgin to make extra money on this flight, I personally think the ground staff at JFK seemed uninterested in generating extra business for this flight. As ever the cabin crew were excellent throughout, very friendly and accommodating, for example there was one passenger on the flight who was quite sick and the cabin crew dealt with this professionally and with the upmost compassion. Full marks to the cabin crew.
