Big, big thank you to Virginboy 747

Just wanted to thank Virginboy747 publicly.

My husband flew back from MCO yesterday as he had a meeting to attend whilst I plan to stay and enjoy the sunshine for a few more days.

I'd only mentioned this in passing in Buns TR and Virginboy was kind enough to PM me to let know he was on the same flight.

He looked after my husband superbly, ensuring he was supplied with a welcome drink of champagne and enough Stella to keep him happy (which isn't easy I can assure you). He also managed to secure extra seats in economy so he could sleep for the flight and got him off he flight first.

He's an absolute star and a superb example to his Company.

Thank you so much.

Jilly

What fabulous service, Jilly. Wonder if Virginboy would like to move north and make MAN his home base [:w]

Well done to Virginboy747 [^]

Oh, and if you're on my flight, can you make sure there's enough Grey Goose in stock [:w]

Maybe we could post his flight schedule on here?

It's all too easy for people to complain and much harder to praise, so it's really nice to see someone taking the time to praise someone who has gone out of his/her way to help. It's also nice to see someone who is prepared to go out of their way to help. I know being a FA is a hard job, but just that little extra always makes the passengers remember you and works wonders for your compnay.

Keep it up Virginboy747

After my last flight I filled out a Flight Feedback form, praising one of the crew. Does this get back to them, as it would take someone at least two minutes to look at a date, flight number and a crew members first name and work out who they were?

Just to follow on from my last post, I received a letter in the post today from VS, saying thanks for the feedback and it also mentions the crew member I gave credit for, so it's nice to see a more personal reply from Virgin instead of the usual email templates that they have sent in the past.

It also says they have passed my comments on to the crew member, so if that does make its way down to them, that's nice to know feedback works.
