A friend officially launches his new album this evening 'Skywriting' and their band is Vapour Trail. Given the title and name, thought it was very apt for V-Flyer, am guessing it all came together for him on one of his numerous trans-atlantic flights. I'll now hand you over to Jim....

The (under construction) website is http://vapourtrail.tv (without www so copy the link directly) and you can NOW preview 3 of the 11 hit singles that make up the album. Please let the music ring out of PCs around the world and forward it on to everyone!

The CD will be pressed and officially manufactured over the next couple of weeks and on sale by early July. All proceeds to Charity.

We are also going to release the album on iTunes and a single off of it. Our aim is to try to mobilise all our resources, fans, friends and press contacts and try to get as many people as possible to buy the single in the first week of release to try to get it in the charts. This will occur in 6-8 weeks time. So plenty of time to generate publicity!

To encourage people I will make a sizeable donation to charity if the single hits the chart. More details on this to come. With the power of email, facebook, myspace, twitter etc we hope we can build up enough momentum to see this happen. Stranger things have happened!

For now watch this space for further news and when the time comes we would appreciate your help in getting us into the charts and making a lot of money for charity in the process.

Thanks from all those associated with Vapour Trail.

Details of tonight's launch and birthday party below.
