Always remember it's a local show for local people. I'd recommend the original Radio 4 series too.

Last night I watched "Air Hospital" on 4OD. It focussed on the work of the RAF / NHS team that flies the C17 extracting the wounded from Afghanistan. A quiet, understated, documentary that makes some powerful points. It also pointed out that the C17 can descend 30000 feet in 90 seconds; that must defeat even the best barley sugar sweet.

Some miserable couple who are flying BA on the news doing one of those 'lets pretend to pack then leave the house carrying the case' pieces.

Why they are looking so miserable I don't know

Maybe its because their flight hasn't been cancelled?

In The Loop
Even better than expected - brilliant really
Peter Capaldi as Malcom Tucker should have had an Oscar nomination at least for supporting performance

Ditto! F1 looks a bit closer this weekend,
hopefully a good race tomorrow.

Enjoyed the ACI on Monday, scary how things like that can happen. It's been a good series so far.

Hmm, I’m not so sure I can see Seb and Webber flying off into the distance leaving Alonso on his own and then JB a bit further back! Despite not liking him, hopefully Lewis can liven the race up a bit with some of overtaking from p11!

From the NW pilots who forgot to set flaps for take off and then LAX ac this week, all scary stuff! Interesting to hear the narrator say there are still major problems at LAX with near misses despite all the changes made.

I have to watch ACI when the girlfriends out, she isn’t the best flyer at the best of times so the program would send her over the edge!

It's on National Geographic, Tonty.

You could be Aaron, although if Alonso on Button manage to get a jump on the red bulls it could be interesting.

I must admit the other half went upstairs when he heard it was LAX this week, especially as we fly in to there in 8 weeks.

I think Nat Geo is channel 526 on Sky and the HD version is 543!

I hope you are right! Something needs to happen to make another 6am start worthwhile! In Bahrain Alonso was matching Vettel's pace so maybe the Red Bull's have just got blistering one lap pace! Possibly something to do with what Martin Whitmarsh is talking about here.

I believe it's also on Virgin Media or there was a DVD release at one point too but I can only find that in Region 1 format!
