Congrat's to you both [y]...
Paul Find a jacuzzi and camp out in it for the night.
Ben While you were running 3 feet in front of Paul were you using a tow line?
What no VF costums [:0][n]
Again, congrats to you both I know I couldn't of done it [oo]
Originally posted by BazzInteresting you should say that. Ben's already signed up... [:w]
Well done guys. will it be a full marathon next?
So, the results are official.
There were minutes that we were waiting at the start line for the seeded people to go before us included in the the "gun time", so there are two timings - but here's what they say:
Now, I did also notice the *slight* irregularity with the "placing", but I figure one of two things:
1) The place code screwed up. As you can see from our times, I had to come in after Ben. He handed his tag to them right in front of me, so there's no way I beat him.
2) I was 612th out of the UK runners (making me 6098 if using the equivalent of Ben's placing)
Either way, we're both well inside the top 10,000 - so we're in the SF Examiner Special edition tomorrow! [^] And, coming in the top 12.5% of 50,000 people ain't bad for a guy "winging it" with his "coach".

Nice one Ben [y]
(and that's a conservative %, evidently: "Estimated Total Number of Runners: 62,000" [:0])
