Airbus

I am sure Bazz won't mind me jumping in here. [:I] It really is a case of 'the more the merrier'.

We welcome anyone to join us [:D] You certainly seemed to enjoy last year's event, so hopefully this year will be more of the same [;)][8D]

The nearest Hilton is in Bracknell some 11 miles south of Maidenhead will be a taxi ride unless you stay sober [;)]

Even though I have not (yet) had any pressure to pay the non-refundable deposit for Southern Comfort, the day cannot be far away.

We are still some way below the minimum number required to make that vessel a viable proposition. I have therefore taken the opportunity to arrange a fall back position with another supplier for a smaller boat.

The good news is that the event will now definitely be able to go ahead, the bad news is that we may not be able to accommodate very many more aboard.

If you have been sitting on the fence [:0] but think you would like to come along please let me know as soon as possible to be sure of a place.

I will just twiddle my thumbs and wait to be asked for some cash, lol

Intimate sounds cool to me, will the alternative tug boat be as nice as the original one?

It is still being fitted out and refurbed at present. It is not themed as with Southern Comfort but will be very pleasant and more 'intimate' [;)]

BAZZ!!!! How far away is The St Annes Manor Hilton Hotel away from the gathering, I don't like the look of the hotel on the link and i could earn some miles staying in a exec room at the Hilton.

Mr. Procrastination has finally booked his flights: will be coming over on the VS8 (UCS) on 22 Jul and taking a car to Maidenhead. Just working with the hotel now to secure a room. Heading to London on 24 July and on to NYC on 25 Jul (VS003-UCS)to join up with colleagues for meeting on 26 July, and back to LA on 26 July.

If anyone will be sober enough and wants to have dinner in London on Sunday evening, I'm up for that. We'll chat more at the Social, I'm certain.

Looking forward to UCS on the VS8, and to meeting everyone.

Regards,
Chuck-

That's ambitious - first target is usually making it down to breakfast in the hotel on Sunday morning [;)]

Probably, but don't expect much of it to make sense [:D]
