VIRGIN ATLANTIC ANNOUNCE "BEST OF AMERICA" MENU FOR UPPER CLASS PASSENGERS DEPARTING THE UNITED STATES
Virgin Atlantic has developed a new menu specialising in American fast food and other cholesterol-focused edibles for its Upper Class passengers onboard flights originating from the USA from now until 6 June 2006.
Virgin Atlantic will be offering Upper Class passengers a wide variety of genetically-modified and preservative-loaded food that will combine the following elements à pesticide-ridden American produce with a modern twist on traditional and where possible, using the best local artificial ingredients from regional suppliers.
Passengers can sample a range of American food choices. Starters will include dishes such as browning California iceberg lettuce with Indiana limp carrot and Wisconsin fat-enhanced Blue Cheese cream dressing to double-cream Boston clam chowder with melted processed cheese food on white toast. Main courses range from Three Pound Angus Beef burger with a quarter pound of melted cheddar and fries, (these burgers have recently won ÔAmerica's Most Fattening Food' award) to fried Kentucky chicken with rich cream and flour sausage gravy served with butter-impregnated mashed potatoes. Additionally, a gloppy, overcooked elbow noodle with New Jersey chemically-enhanced Inexplicable Orange Powder Cheese sauce will be available to vegetarians. Desserts such as box-mix chocolate cake, box-mix white cake and box-mix pound cake with Safeway Supermarkets' "Ultra Fat!" vanilla ice-cream will be on the new menu.
