Evening all,

I'm afraid I need somemore legendary v-flyer.com counselling. I've just been told that my "surprise" stag do is to edinburgh and we're flying there from BHX. Unfortunately, yep, you've guessed it, I'm flying British Airways!!

Can anyone help me? [}:)]

Sorry, there is no cure. Once you've gone over to the Dark Side there's no going back;)

Does that mean there's no hope for me Jeremy? [:#]

Can't SRB charter me a plane to get me to Edinburgh?

Well you could take a Virgin train. I guess that would save your soul.

That was the original plan, but even with Virgin Value, and other discounted fares, we were still looking at £120 return. Making the flight significantly cheaper!

I'll just close my eyes and pretend I'm in UCS. :D

A touch harsh!

Besides, I'll be handing out v-flyer cards aplenty and wearing my v-flyer badge with pride. I'll be using my v-flyer luggage tags and I'm damn it, I'm going to enjoy myself!

Tickets already booked I'm afraid. I'm going to pretend I'm an undercover agent. (See previous post!)

Go the whole hog - take a sleep suit, ask for the boarding champagne, and try to fold the seat flat forwards. You're guaranteed to get thrown off the flight as a nutter, then you'll be on the train (or more likely a bus...).

Sorry - was only joking above!!!

Thats so cool - "MCO-MI5" sneaking around the dark side and not letting them know his true identity - until suddenly he pounces and reveals his true colours,,,,,

Red and Purple Underpants with "I love SRB" embroided across them!!!

Get in there !!!!

With the size of my a***, I could fit "Sir Richard Branson" on them rather than SRB!

Perhaps you would like to elaborate a little on that one. Like, which new topic, what it is about, and why we should see it?

I guess youll find out why the worlds favorite airline is not the worlds best airline? One idea is to get some double sided sticky tape and put a Virgin Tail fin on the back and recruit all the VAA crew on v-flyer to operate as crew for you... then of course there is the food dont forget your packed lunch on the BA flight. and of course you wont have v-port so take a PSP or an i-pod !! hope this helps

The only problem would be the other 90+ passengers... what would they do in the future... once they had seen a way out of the Dark Side but couldnt do it all the time...

If you can get the rest onside youre on If you provde the packed lunches and drinks on arrival! Should I recruit a Beauty Therapist to the cause? And should we get the clubhouse team to takeover the BHX BA lounge for the day?

Sounds like a plan to me, milehigh [y].

Now you mention it, any chance you could ask nicely and "borrow" an LHR 744 for the afternoon? We could do with a bit of V:Port.

I think you've crossed over. No true v-flyer would ever be seen on a BA aircraft. My suggestion would be to disguise yourself, to ensure no v-flyers see you at the airport- that could be akward [8D]

Just make sure the honeymoon is on VS, and we might forgive you ;)

Obviously I'm not a true V-Flyer then, as I utilise BA for flights on a regular basis now that BMI is abysmal.

So don't worry, its just when you fly BA to a route that is served by VS that we really worry [:p]

Thanks,
Richard

Not sure about that - You sure Virgin TRAINS don't service those destinations, Richard?
