Well it has been for a few years now - I used to be 70 TPs to get to Gold and 50 to renew, but the earning levels were different then - the number earned depending on the route and class - If I recall a trip in UC to San Fran got you 12 TP.

I can dig out the old chart if anyone is interested.

Also VS did a special a few years back where you only needed to get to 30..its back at 40 now though!
