Where to go?

Hi Guys!

India was awesome and I am looking to take a few days away somewhere towards the end of May now! I have pestered friends and family and no one can get away with me so does anyone know of any decent place to go by yourself for a few days and something fun to do!!

Come on people hit me with ideas... I enjoy my sports, have been to vegas but seems like a crazy place to be by yourself, caribbean I imagine could be quite lonely... although I could enjoy my time with a few books and cold beer.

Any inspiration for earning a few miles and tier points and having 4 or 5 days fun?

Learning is a very cool "solo" activity, and both are VS destinations...

Although Long Island sounds great, and I love flying... the thought of jumping out of a perfectly fit aircraft is not one that appeals! [:$] Anything else going on there which doesnt involve jumping out of planes? Or off bridges? Or general jumping?

I wonder if theres any cricket on in Cape Town... hmmmmmm [:?]

What about snowboarding in Dubai, in the middle of summer? [8D]

(Hotels can be a bit pricey though )

Now I was looking at Dubai as I can get some great deals at the hotels there through work... think you might be on a winner there... time go price hunting... [:w] Can you really go snowboarding there?

I found Barbados to be a bit coupley, but a nice place

people say Cuba is great - not been yet..

We had a great time in Dubai recently with lots to do. And yes, you can go snowboarding....and skiing. We did - or more accurately we signed up for lessons and I wimped out after about 15 minutes [:w]

Flights look good... has anyone stayed at the Jumeirah Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa? Whats that like? I need to do some shopping so actually Dubai is looking perfect!! Cheers everyone!!
