Economy Seat Pitch

Hi all

I am very confused about Virgin's economy seat pitch. I have done 3 round trips with Virgin so far and can say i have had no problems. Apparently they say seat pitch is between 31 and 32 inchs. But i keep reading on other websites about how Virgin have the worst long haul seat pitch, sometimes around 29". Is this true?

I travelled Brittania to Florida last year and that was definatly the worst flight i have ever been on seat pitch wise.

I read earlier that Virgin now has one plane that has 31" inch all through economy but obviously that will take ages to go through the whole fleet. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a part of the a plane which has slightly better pitch than others? Apart from Bulkheads.
