I am a Liverpool supporter flying to NY on Saturday Morning on VS3 and as such will miss the FA Cup Final [:(]. I was wondering if there will be any live radio coverage on board

Thanks,
Mark

I can't think of any means by which you can get live coverage on a VS flight (other than by phone to someone with a radio).

Chances are the pilot will be able to get updates via radio to VS Operations in the UK. It's not unknown for that kind of thing to happen.

IIRC VS made match highlights from Euro 2004 available on the IFE, though I didn't see what they were actually like (has to be better than the 2003 Rugby World Cup semi-final highlights I got on BA) - I kept missing the right bit in the programme, and it was not AVOD.

Last time I flew to the US it was a Sunday, the Captain gave us all that day's FA Cup scores as part of his 'Welcome to Miami' speech after we had landed.

I am sure that if you asked a member of the crew nicely, they would get a message to the Captain and he would let you know.

I had a similar fear, so changed my flight completely and now fly on Sunday.
