I am rather worriedabout my flight wich is meant to be UCS though I dont mind J2000 as well.

Virgin advertised that from 27/04 all flights to and from India would be UCS. DEL has been so. From 27/04 until yesterday according to lhr-lgw VAEL has come to BOM thrice. This is V worrying considering im flying in 10 days. any idea why would this happen.

In update booking my flight is still showing as UCS. I guess the previous night once the aircraft leaves from LHR if I log in and check the seat map would that be a safe way to check?

I think that you will find the advert had a bit of small print with a disclaimer about every flight being suites, along the lines of:
For operational reasons we cannot guarantee that aircraft will not change without prior notice. Some aircraft will not be fitted with the Upper Class Suite..

If your seat map is showing suites, then there is every chance you will get suites. Nothing is guaranteed until you see the plane at the gate. Even then..... it could go tech. [:0]

Hope you get suites... don't forget the TR;)

Until every aircraft is fitted with the suite, there will never be 100% guarantee on any route you wont get J2000.

This is after all the airline industry, the most unreliable thing in the world.
