Question about Club America at MIA

As Club America is pre-security, does anyone know if it might be possible they would allow two ticketed UC passengers to bring in a single guest?

The reason: I am interested in having a friend in Miami meet us at the airport during our layover.

Not sure they will and I have not witnessed this - but why not try?

Alternatively there is a (half) decent bar/restaurant called the Top of the Port on the seventh floor of the hotel, accessed from concource E not far from Virgin check in. It's a bit faded, like the Club America lounger, but has better views and a full bar and restaurant service!

Technically not (as the guest would have to be flying VS that day..)
That being said it never hurts to ask!!

The lounge really isnt that great anyway so as slinky says you might be better to tryu elsewhere.
