We are planning on bookin some M+M flights for next year, using my points, but as we currently dont have a credit or debit card we ned to get our friend to make the payment for us. I know we can't book it online and i have confirmation from FC that we can still book the flights, but does anyone know how it would work. Obviously as i am the Fc member i need to call to make the booking, but then payment will be made by someone with a different address and name. Will they have to call in with our booking reference to make the payment or will we be able to give the card details for them?

Thanks

Never done but I would give them a call and they can advise you.

Hope you are successful:)

A thing to look out for is that you might need to present the credit/debit card used for payment at check in. This could clearly be a problem if it is not your card.

Having said that, VS have never asked me to present the card - but BA have.

Thankyou both

I spoke toi FC yesterday and all they do is take the card details from me, but send papaer tickets to the cardholders address for security. Because we have paper ticets we shouldn't need to present the card at check in.
