Cam I just say a resounding THANK YOU to all posters, be they VS staffers, passengers, v-flyer Mods or Admins who have taken the time and trouble to post/administer/police the various opinions and sound advice which has been posted on this forum over the past 24 hours or so. Invaluable stuff during this volatile period.

Community is as community does ;). Speaking as a forum member (not a mod) it is as times like this that that which makes us WANT to be a part of V-Flyer shine through.

My Dear Treelo,

I hope your response was as much in jest as EGG's no doubt was. I am sure he meant no offense.

In fact, a cursory review of my Swiss automatic chronometer informs me that it is nearly the time bell hour in Blighty, and thus we can assume that our sweet EGG is now more or less pickled due to a soaking in malted beverages. Drinking and posting might be the explanation, or it may just be he's feeling frisky...in which case, parents, lock away your college-age rugby players [:p]

I'm certain we all would take your posting with thanks, appreciation and the desire to second the motion. This board is indeed valuable and times like this draw a line under your point.

Now, put that waving finger away and let's all be friends. And lovers. Yes, a free love community. Perfect.

Toodles, noodles...

GJ

Perhaps I should have prefaced my riposte to EGG with '... with tongue firmly in cheek...' but then again, perhaps not [}:)] So fear not GJ, I have developed a very thick skin since first posting on these fora and being likened to a bovine quadruped, which triggered a Treelo hissy fit [:I]

Incidentally, my initial post was written as sincerely as I could muster.

and you see how in self-deprecating English form no-one can deal with sincerity? ;). I refer you to "Watching the English" as discussed elsewhere. We like to do the right thing but we hate/love it when we're praised for it - so we develop accepted ways of responding. The most common is "come off it" but internally we glow with pride that someone noticed.
