Does anyone else think that it's fairly weaselly that VS isn't operating a ticket rebooking policy for anyone booked to travel at the moment?
VS is currently only allowing changes for people booked to travel on the 10th itself.
Despite the VS flights running, I can think of a significant number of people who wouldn't want to put themselves through the current security fiasco - for example:
* The elderly, disabled and infirm
* Those with a fear of flying
* Those with children
* Those with medical conditions
* Those with specific inflight requirements
* Those who may be contractually bound to carry on board certain items - you've seen the
story about the Russian musicians?
* Those only travelling for a short period (e.g. a weekend), for whom the stress and threat of delays, and reduced time at their destination, it simply isn't worth it.
I can see that BA, United, and American are allowing free rebooking for anyone booked to travel between the 10th August and 1st September.
I think that the VS policy as it stands is a bit tough.

Mike
