They do so. I know where the bag is, but VA doesnt answear any e-mails, and I have call them and ask for he number of the deliver company thet they use in LAX. They gave me a number to a company that no longer deliver for V.A. I have to call from sweden so it«s very expensive for me. So I take a chance here and hope someone can help me. Thanks anyway for your suggestions.

OK, have you looked at the full list of numbers? Admittedly, there are none in Sweeden, but the UK number might be cheaper?

The 18008628621 is where all US enquiries get routed through. Have you called the UK number, to see if they can help?

These fine words does not mean a thing , I am very upset but I will try calling this bad company VA until they will deliver the bag. ( They have know for a week now that the bag is in VA:s area in LAX. Is it always like this in VA when a bag is missing.?

Once you land at your destination we will make every effort to deliver your checked baggage to the Arrivals Hall as quickly as possible. As you can imagine, we sometimes handle hundreds of bags per flight, and due to this sheer volume, checked baggage can on rare occasions go astray. We realise the inconvenience this may cause, and if you are not a resident of the country you have arrived in, will provide you with immediate assistance in order to replace those essential items to meet your short-term needs. Once your bag arrives at its final destination, in most destinations, we will reunite you within 24 hours of its arrival, at no cost to you.

Janne, we are sorry to learn of your daughter's lost bag and understand your frustration in not being able to get through to somebody who can help.

Hopefully tomorrow (Monday) if you follow Paul's advice someone will be able to sort it out for you. Please don't judge the VAA too harshly because of this experience, they, like all airlines flying from british airports, have been very stretched these past days.

I will call the headoffice tomorrow and ask them why it takes so long time..
Is there anyone in the UK that can find a direct number to the department of baggage in the headoffice.?
Maybe with help from a telephone book or some yellow pages or what it calls in UK.
