Looking at flight details to New york and it has the flight to New York being shorter in time. ie below 6 hrs and the return flight being 7.5 hours. i always thought it was quicker coming back becos of the winds? I may be wrong.

What dates? If it's in the "transition week" of daylight savings time, that could help explain it. [:?]

Hmm. It's not that, then.

Although (sorry, a little OT) - That new US law comes in next year meaning the "overlap" lasts for 2 whole weeks in March and 1 week in November [:0]

Anyway - not sure about those dates. [:?]

I think Paul is right. DST in the US is the first Sunday in April. In the EU it is the last Sunday in March. Both clock go back at the same time in Autumn - the last Sunday in October.

The 6th of April next year is just after the first Sunday, so that could be it, but I think it is changing from next year? Maybe that VS have not got round to adjusting for this yet.

Not next year, radar - check out that link I posted. In April, we'll both be on the same time shift.

Next year, the US do their clocks on March 11 and November 4. We'll do ours on March 25 and October 28. Here's more info

Maybe another glitch is the system? We are aware of a few with the VS booking system and there are a few errors on the site anyways so maybe something that the VS site has incorrect.
