Hi all

Sorry to keep banging on about these bloody miles!!! [:I]

Could someone please try to answer the following.......[y]

I've contacted MBNA and Virgin Money about my new Amex card, who have informed that my miles were transferred at the end of July. My statement date is 5th/6th of each month, so when should I see these miles in my account? I would of thought that having been transferred in July they would of shown in my account by now [:?]

Yes they definitely have my correct FC number, this is the email I received from Virgin money



Dear Mr ******

I am wrting to confirm receipt of your email which has been forwarded to us
by the Flying Club.

The service we provide is of the utmost importance to us, therefore, I was
concerned to learn of your experience.

Our colleagues at MBNA are responsible for the servicing and adminstration
of the Virgin Atlantic American Express card, this includes the allocation
of any miles or rewards accrued. I have contacted MBNA in order to resolve
your concerns.

They have confirmed that they do have the correct Flying Club number on
your account, please accept my sincere apologies if you were provided with
incorrect information.

With regards to your miles, I can confirm that 5,435 miles were transferred
at the end of July which included your bonus miles.

I hope I have been able to resolve your concern, however, if I can be of
any further assistance please contact me.

The problem is I received another statement from them today with another 499 miles from my spending last month and these are not showing either!

I'm really confused now, I've asked all the departments concerned, MBNA, Virgin money, and I seem to be getting no where. Not really sure where to turn now to get this matter resolved. Any advice would really be appreciated Nick.

I'm having the same problem!
I still haven't received my miles from my previous statement although it shows on my online banking exactly how many I should have received.
I called MBNA who told me to call the Virgin members shop.The Virgin emebers shop said the Amex card is nothing to do with them! I called MBNA back who told me to call--wait for it-the Virgin members shop! When I insisted that the members shop didn't deal with the Amex card,the person I spoke to went to speak to a supervisor and was then very surprised to find out that is correct! They said they will e mail someone or other to see where my miles are but I'm running out of energy now!

I'm one step ahead of my hubbie who still hasn't even recived his Amex card.Even after more than seven different phone calls since we converted it on July 14!

Hi all, I too have the same problem, however I am on the understanding that Flying club have contacted MBNA and that anu outstanding miles will be posted late September.
