Hungry Like the Mullah

Whilst flying on VS019/VS020 this past couple weeks, I noticed that there are some readings of the Islamic holy book on the IFE...interestingly it was labeled as such: Quran|Quran. Who knew Simon Le Bon was rocking the casbah?

In all seriousness, I took the opportunity to listen to the readings for a while and, though I do not speak Arabic, I found the chanting to be hauntingly beautiful and very interesting.

When will they have Tom Cruise reading from "Dianetics?"

**** **** *** *** **** which translates as something very rude about Tom C ... but, wish list aside, if Tom were to read soothing dianetics to me I'd switch off anyway.

Good for Virgin to have Koranic readings ... I'd welcome all sorts ... especially the rantings of a jaded drag queen from Vauxhall (though this would need a parental advisory).
