FC still having problems with m'ship renewal packs

I know this has been commented on before, but thought the topic might be worthy of an update. I'm due a renewal membership pack by the end of this month and needless to say, it's not here yet. Sent a note to FC asking, and this is what I got back in response (eventually) ...


Thank you for your e-mail, I apologise for the delay in replying.

Our Flying Club Membership cards and packs have been re-designed, to
give a fantastic new look, although the designs have been completed and
printed we have been experiencing some problems with our suppliers.

If you are travelling before 31 Aug it has been advised that you may
continue to use your current card. The clubhouses are aware, and will be
able to check their systems to verify Gold members.

Please accept our sincere apologies, we do look forward to welcoming
you onboard.

The first paragraph is a standard reponse to FC cards questions, I got it when I enquired about my card when I renewed 6 months ago![V]

If they are still having problems getting their Golds out it might be another 6 months before my silver arrives. Come on FC, get your act together, you don't answer my emails and it will take many more months before I get my new silver card. [:(!]
