I had an earlier post on this forum about a Scarlet Lady lighter I have and know nothing about, Original Post

Finally, I found someone else in the same boat I'm in! This is the only other lighter I've ever seen like mine, and this eBay seller is just as clueless as I am as to where it came from. His photos are better than mine [:I], so if you have any idea where this lighter came from, or when it was given out, please let me know (and since the eBay seller says he'd be open to hearing from those in-the-know, maybe you could tell him too).

These Scarlet Lady zippo lighters have been discussed on here a couple of times. The threads seem to have been archived now though.

They are fairly common on EBay, and I seem to remember that jetwet1 had one.

Don't know their origin, but I assume they were sold in Retail Therapy, or whatever the duty free service was previously called, at some time.

No Jetwet1 has two of the things, they were offered in the retail therapy mag during the mid - late 90's.They were only offered for a couple of months if I remember correctly and they can be a royal pain in the neck to find.

Thanks for the info! I'll pass it on. (Retail Therapy? I avoid reading that - I need no help shopping! Maybe I'll read the RT list from now on [:I]...)
