Hello all

This is my first time posting here, so hello :D!

I have searched the forum but can't find the answer. So...I am looking to fly to Vegas next year from LGW. I have searched loads on the Virgin site for different times to go and what is the cheapest. I have discovered that April is pretty cheap, but does anyone have a list or is there a site that has a list of the average prices of flights throughout the year?

Any help would be appreciated!

Pam

If you are a flying club member ( and if not you should join) you can check out the Miles plus money fare table for Las Vegas. It will give you an indication of the cheapest times and the relative increase in price at other times.

Hope this helps

Cheaper seasons are normally:

1st Jan - 31st March
1st nov ~ 15th December

LAS is a strange route though as only VS fly direct from LON, so can charge whatever.

Thanks,
Richard

Not forgetting that there is a massive conference in January called CES and the flights usually fill up and are at a premium when the show is on.

Thanks for all your replies...checked Miles Plus Money and actually worked out that is by far the cheapest option for me (PE for £661 + 7500 miles in April). Compared to the £1000 normal price tag, thats pretty good...unless they have a sale that is..

Considering you can buy 8000 miles for £135, that's quite a good price :D Never really looked at MPM fares before, perhaps I should!

Locutus- thats what I thought! If there is no sale going on it is technically around £200 cheaper to buy some miles and do a MPM fare. Only thing is, I don't think you earn miles on that trip (doesn't bother me too much..I only really fly with Virgin once or twice every couple of years anyway).
