What would be interesting is to see VS use some of the discount they might get on the A380s (which, incidentally, I am sorry are being delayed - I would fly an Airbus over a Boeing any day, as I think they are much better and quieter) on refurbing the non-V:Port fleet, including the B744s. If they get anything like the discount SG apparently got, it would easily pay for it, and leave some petty cash for another couple of new B744s or A346s to cover the refits. Bit of a PR double edged sword though - would be good for VS to show they are using reclaimed cash to upgrade all the existing non-V:Port fleet, but would look poor for Airbus seeing discounts going to refit some Boeings....

This is a good idea in theory; now if only airline managers were able to come to the idea that profits can be put back into the company;) Actually, to be fair, VS does put quite put a lot of money into improving its product - providing it involves the three letters LHR[}:)]
