Amenity kits

Dear All,
I was wondering - has VS stopped handing out theses nice Ozwald Boazeng Amenity kits they used to have? I see on this forum that now a cardboard box is given to UC Pax! Why is that? Is VS saving on costs? Would be such a shame. Can anyone confirm that there are no more amenity kits and tell me why? Regards from a VS-fan Thomas

Virgin changed the kits to a rather poor offering in a cardboard envelope called a "snooze pack" although on this forum it is known as a "Scrooge pack" after Dickens character in A Christmas Carol. If you do a search (top right of the screen with the term "Scrooge pack" or "Amenity kit" you should find the whole story.

Having said that, on some flights the old OB kits appear to still being issued, and rumour has it a new more complete kit is on the way.
