Hi,

I've got a UC flight booked to/from Antigua and looking at the VA website, apparantly the lounge is in a restaurant called the Sticky Wicket [:?]

Have any v-flyer-ites been there? Is it just a restaurant that anybody can use or is there a prviate lounge area within it?

Thanks.

Its a restaurant and bar lounge looking over a cricket pitch (funnily enough). You get a voucher for $50 EC to spend there which will suffice for several cocktails and some finger food. There are no private facilities for VS UC Pax so you mingle with the other patrons, most of whom are waiting for flights themselves in my experience.

Its air conditioned, good service (most of the time), okay food (avoid the burgers I had one for lunch a couple of days ago and it was awful). You cant smoke inside but they have seating outside and its a two minute walk (if that) from departures.

Thanks for that Adam. I guess you get the voucher at check in?

Yes you do. You can also pay your departure tax ($20US/$50EC) at check in which will save you a couple of minutes.

When you depart the line to get through the emigration check can often be quite long (particulary if you are flying out on a Saturday). Also there is no fast track equivelent so you may want to buget an hour to get though to the departures lounge.

When you arrive you will be given a form to complete and you will keep a portion of that, dont lose it or you will have to fill in a new one at the emigration check (there isnt a penalty or anything but its a pain).
