Hi all,

Just a quick question, I am flying to Orlando with VH in UC and returning from Vegas in PE. There are five of us travelling, what do you think the chances are of getting an upgrade from PE TO UC if I called them and also is UC a lot more expensive From Vegas compared to from Orlando? Thanks.

Rocking horse droppings I am afraid, being an LGW aircraft it has 14 suites to start with and this route seems to sell out UC all the time, no harm in trying of course but I don't hold out much hope.

A "Z" for MCO is around £1,200 in April. A "Z" for LAS is around £2,700. I'll leave it to you to divide by two to get the one way fare :)

Recently back from Vegas[^] its a really popular route, on the way out there was availability of 4 suites but they were filled with people that paid cash for the upgrade.

On the way back one suite was empty and they didn't bump anyone in to it.

Just a thought, but I am not sure a VH PE ticket is upgradeable anyway
it would most likely be a flexible far pax that got a freebie upgrade.

To be fair, April in Vegas is NAB - one of the biggest exhibitions the city hosts, so the fares then are likely to be slightly inflated.

Will be returning latter part of August, so I don't know if the price would be that much different to April, may just give ring and find out, do you think it is worth it or would PE on return leg be comfortable enough? Have flown in PE several times on shorter trips, the outbound journey to MCO will be my first UC experience, I am soooooooooo excited, but will try and look like a seasoned UC traveller on the day :D

If you are upgrading through Virgin Hols the price should be a set one for the UCS upgrade, usually very reasonable too on popular routes. They are subject to availability though.

I would be inclined to book it now and get your 10% off, homeward bound in UCS is well worth it anyway on such a long flight.

There is never a shortage of people who are prepared to pay cash for an upgrade to UC on the way home from Vegas. Maybe they split 10's.... :D
