BTW, I emailed Virgin Atlantic and as of now it does not know which lounge it will be using at Chicago.

I'm afraid I seem to be sucked in by new route fever yet again.... :D Dammmmn you VS.....[:p]

I cannot believe the volume of G availability for ORD. 8 seats are available for a high percentage of days during 2007 according to VA.com....:D

Is this normal practice for a new route or something different for ORD???

Well we gone and done it! I'm all booked onto a reward flight to Chicago over the Memoria Day weekend - I'm so incredibly excited I'm all bouncy. Dean is booking his flight in the next few days and we are booking the hotel too.

Out in Economy and back in Upper, and as soon as I get to Chicago over to Cleveland to visit Cedar Point! Then back to Chicago to enjoy the delights of this fine city.

I think the hardest thing about the flight will be no Clubhouse access on the way out. May have to resort to Service Air lounge.

Right, need to get a Chicago Rough Guide now! Any suggesstions for places to visit, nights out etc?

Thanks for the heads up TBS [y][y]

This is the link posted in the FT thread.

I think Fozz and Dean get to try it before we do next month, so may beat me with the TR. ;)

Isn't JAL sort of an unusual partner to go with? I mean Virgin hasn't really done stuff with them in the past (or have they...). Or do airlines not care which ones use their lounge as long as they make money?
