Hi, I have had a quick search but can not find anything... I am looking to go to vegas next month (last minute i know) and wanting to fly PE Gatwick - Las Vegas

Airline-network have the PE tickets on the same days for £200 less than Virgin online, would Virgi Price match this? There T+Cs do not fill me with confidence.

Also has anyone used airline-network? Are they "ok" and would I get tier points and miles by booking through them??

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

I've used Airline Network in the past, and been very happy with their service. Any published PE revenue fare earns tier points and miles, so the ones you buy from Airline Network will not short change you.

I'm surprised to hear they're offering tickets £200 less that virginatlantic.com though - that's one reason I've switched to booking direct with Virgin, as the consolidatiors like Airline Network were no longer as competitive, and there is (obviously) still a peace-of-mind factor when booking direct that you know your Flying Club number is going to get recorded, and the seat request or special meal is likely to get on the system in the right way (although, to be fair, never had any problems with any of those things with Airline Network).

I'd be surprised if Virgin didn't price-match with them. I'm pretty sure I saw a banner on the V-Flyer site that said the lowest prices were on virginatlantic.com, guaranteed (although you need to log out of V-Flyer to see the banners!) ;)

Probably a different booking class (fare code basis) and therefore may not be able to price match. Fare consolidators regularly sell below VS price although usually this is in economy.

No probs with them at all when I've used them.Try VS first and if they won't/ can't pricematch, make the booking with AirlineNetwork. £200 is $400 more money to spend when you get there!

As the fair is a non refundable one online

If you can point to the fare on Airline Network, that will give Virgin the opportunity to price match. If they're unwilling, that's when you go ahead and book with Airline Network.

Topic name changed to add "Do" at the beginning because that better reflects the OP question.

Used Airline Network lots of times and no problems. We got full mileage awards on our recent Qatar flights. Dialaflight.com is also very good.
