VS19 - 4 hours late leaving today ?

VS19 was almost 4 hours late leaving LHR today, anyone know why ?

I know the rain was bad around 11:30am here in Reading , as my sons school closed.

I have a vested interest as I am on it on Saturday.

According to news reports LHR had to cancel 141 flights because of the weather. In addition a quick scan of the VS website shows there were significant delays on all the flights due out around that time, so I would say it is definitely weather related

And for the many of us sat under the weather, it was attrocious. Even in SW15 my street had a flash flood ... the road turning into a foot deep of fast running water!

Much worse for friends in Worcestershire, who after a six hour drive from London spent all night with buckets bailing water out of their house.

So a little local difficulty at LHR, I can understand that.
