Hello from the LHR Clubhouse

My taxi was 30 minutes late, coupled with bad traffic on the M4 and A4, I did n't get here until 8:30, when I had planned for 7am. Fortunately the loads are light on VS19 today, so I did manage to get my preferred seat of 28A.

Was last here in the lounge on the 24th November, and the Christmas Decorations are out, very subtle.

What I have noticed is the Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream cabinets positioned on the bar and near the water bottle stations. Hope they are still around in April (or at least my wife will appreciate them)

The Clubhouse burger is indeed back on the menu.

Appears quiet here today, and as I'm not feeling 100% I'm hoping the flight will be on time and quiet.

Phew - what a relief. I was really looking forward to that. I mean what else was I going to eat in the 7 hours I have planned for the clubhouse on the 23rd?!? [:I]

Indeed, I didnt even notice them until the hairdresser mentioned them to me. A pleasant change from houses covered in lights.
