Supplementary Silver - How long?

As a Gold member, I've applied for a supplementary Silver account for my wife. Sent in the application over a month ago, but no acknowledgment yet. Anyone have experience on how long it will take? We have upcoming flights next month and I want to make sure she has an FC number by then.

Where did you send the application form? If you fax it through it should happen in the next few days. If it has been a month, I'd recommend logging in, filling out the form again, and faxing it through to FC again.

Long winded perhaps, but it might be worth recomending your wife to the flying club via 'miles more friends' promo, then once she has an account, you can call the gold hotline and have her account upgraded to your supplementary account.

Smart move - that's what I'd do too if the missus didn't have an account ... then get the bonus miles.

If it's taken a month something's definitely gone wrong. When I added The Other Mr Morgan to my account he had his pack in just over a week.
