My apologies for the question if explained elsewhere. I am currently a Ag member but should be Au by the end of the year. When you complete the flight that elevates you to Au it says that your tier points are reset. Is this also the case is you finish on say 44 points? Do they reset you to 0 or do you still have 4 points? Just wondering for the purposes of requalifying.

Cheers.

If the flight that takes you over means you gain gold then yes, your points are reset to zero and your TPs do not count toward renewal. If you then say take a return flight, that contributes to your renewal just not the specific one that takes you over.

The tier point system is fairly complex, but moving up the scale and re-qualifying is explained very well in the V-Flyer FAQs

In answer to your question - when you reach the threshold for Gold, your TP total is zeroed and you start your re-qualification - referred to as GA1 in the FAQ's.

Thanks for the responses. Will make sure I fly back PE rather than upper then!
