Sorry for wasting everyones time - found the answer in the faq's £25 + 75% of miles credited if outside 7 days. Did use search, but didn't find it.[:I]

As a gold member there are no fees or forfeiture of miles.

If you want to change the name why don't you just cancel the reservation and make a new one in the different?

Hmm, no mention of gold members in those T&Cs. [:?] They didn't charge me in the past when I made changes, but maybe they have modified the rules.

[:D] guess who's confused now - however answers the question I was thinking in that its probably worth 'maybe' taking a risk on 25,000 miles and £25 to secure a reward seat and then possibly cancel it or just £25 to change dates.

This is turning into a complicated trip [:D]

Now all I to do is find away to use this companion voucher for another trip. I just wish there was a way that you could see more than 7 days prices on one page instead of going back and forward when you have flexible dates.

thanks again
