bmi flights -> flying club account

Hi folks,

Long time lurker..

How long does it normalyl take for points earned flying bmi to transfer across to your Flying Club account? I gave bmi my FC number on each booking.

I've taken 3 bmi flights, 2 in business since January - my last one was taken at Easter. No points seem to have transferred over as of yet. Can anyone tell me how long it normally takes? Should I contact bmi or VS to query this?

Did you get any miles at all in a bmi DC account? If so, they don't transfer across from DC to FC. If not, I'd do a FC missing miles claim for the flights, sending in your tickets & boarding passes.

I wonder if this is related to bmi's computer meltdown they are currently experiencing. Miles aren't posting properly on DC accounts, and haven't done so for a good few weeks now. Maybe this is also affecting partner airline posting?

I'd start following up if you've not had your miles by now from a January or Easter flight - if you've got your boarding card you could go straight to VS to claim missing miles otherwise I guess you need to go back to BMI.
