Tier points question

here is a question for you TP gurus.
I have travelled in SAS buisness class recently as you know. That should give me 4 TP's

Even with those I am not going to have enough this year to attain Silver again. I need another 5.
My year ends according to the VA calculator in December with me needing 12 from 31st dec.

the SAS TPs have not been entered into my account yet. If I wait until Jan to chase them up for the TP's, will they be added to my new requirement? [?]:D

Alan, mistakes can and do happen, cross your fingers and hope for the best. It is the date of travel which is the determining factor so I wouldn't hold your breath.

If you retrospectively add TP's to your account they are added for the date of flight.

Whilst its possible VSFC could make an error this is unlikely.

Also I wouldnt worry too much as those TP's would not have affected your FF status this period in any case.

I'm confused, are you Silver or Red?

Even if you had them added on in Jan, they will go against the date of travel, they won't count for the new year as such.

If you are aiming for Silver, then its not an issue as such as you have to earn 15 in any 12 month rolling period.
