hello All,

I am flyin to MCO from LGW in august and just wanted to enquire if it was worth paying the GBP 30 each for us to access the clubhouse before we fly as we are flying PE and don't get access?

Cheers

Hi James,

I guess it depends on the individual and if you are used to going in the airline lounges. Some of us get spoiled by having access to the lounges and so therefore cannot stand the hussle and bussle of the airport.

I for one would stump up the cash to use the lounge. Another factor is how many of you are there? For a family of 3 or 4 then this is a lot of money to pay out on your way out to your vacation.

The lounge at LGW though is great, I prefer it to the clubhouse at LHR.

One point to remember is that if you are a paying guest, then any beauty treatments and haircuts are payable for each treatment (I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong on that one).

Get there early enough and make the most of the entrance fee is my opinion for you on this one[8D]

Enjoy:D

James,
If you've never done a clubhouse and want to try i'd say give it a go!
£30 is certainly cheaper than an UC ticket!
It might be worth checking the flight Itineraries to see if any Gold card holders are flying from LGW on that day as they might be able to sign (some of) you in..:D

Treatments are extra but food/drink etc are free

See this link for details of the LGW Clubhouse
