How long has it been the case that a guest of an AU member cannot use the v touch facilites at LHR clubhouse its a new one on me. I have a very unhappy junior jag on my hands with very long locks[:(!]

It is the first I have heard of it. I would guess it was started about the same time as they started charging VH customers £30 for entry but then extra for beauty treatments.

The last time I was in, which was a LOONG time ago in the Plat Amex days - the staff in there had the proud boast 'everything is complimentary - your money is no good in here, sir' :D:D

IMO anything that devalues the gold card is a BAD customer service move. Gold card holders make VS a lot of money.

Agreed. They appear to be tightening up on Clubhouse amenities.

The majority do. Of course there are others who achieve it by other means...;)

We still spend a load of money with Vs too:)

maybe not as much as Commercial gold's (where the company pays for J travel) but still a lot.

2 weeks 2 day til my Syney trip:D

Anyone gone through the T&C's yet re charging guests..?

I did offer to pay for juniors hair cut, not a chance they(front desk staff x3) even stated there never had been and never would be paid access to LHR clubhouse and they certainly did not take money for treatments.I asked if junior could have my treatment, no way more than me jobs worth. This happened just after I had to go through 20 questions to get 2 guests admitted with 2 valid gold cards.Absolute ****e customer service from the once again stroppy front desk crew.I did speak to a member of AU team last night it was the first they had heard of it, but they rang the LHR clubhouse up there and then and confirmed new rules have been in place for 8 weeks nice that customers have been informed.Rant over.
