Apols if this question has been asked before, I did a search of the topics and couldn't find anything relating to it.

Was wondering if there was any type of lounge available to U.C. pax at Orlando and if so, which airline's lounge they have access to?

After my business trip to the far east late December/early January my partner and I plan to have a relaxing 12 nights with the mouse and his mates.

Have checked the Virgin Holidays brochure and find I can do it much cheaper by booking my flights with Virgin and making a seperate reservation with the hotel.

Obviously with the present sterling/dollar exchange rate it shall be much cheaper to buy our entrance tickets in the U.S.

Delta Crown Room is the lounge used by UC pax at MCO, and is also avsilable to Priority Pass holders. Not used it myself, but my dad had only pleasant things to say about it when he visited two months ago.

The usual proviso applies - ie it's not going to be as good as a Clubhouse, but we know that don't we...:D

Yes; it is very pleasant. Drinks and nibbles only though. There is a good seating area that overlooks a runway - I recall.
cheers

Not too bad in the Delta lounge but as mentioned only drinks and nibbles, but the quietness beats the hussle and bussle in the terminal.

Shoreside, here is a couple of links for discounted attraction tickets, and car hire if you haven't already booked:

Car hire for UK and US Guests:

What about a Villa rather than a hotel ;)

Enjoy.

I prefer to call it the Delta Cr#p Lounge. Yeh you get free drinks, lots of space and nice views. But nibbles always consist of these cheese like waffly things. Got caught out first time and was starving by the time we got on the plane.

One other thing, there are a few TVs in the lounge, but last time we were there they are all sponsored by CNN, so you have a good choice of CNN headline news, CNN financial news CNN........

Shame really because even at LAX where they used the AC lounge they had staff who brought out those little 'Virgin extras' like sandwiches etc. Otherwise if you're feeling hungry go downstairs and grab yourself a nathans hot dog and take it back up to the lounge, have seen a few frequent virgins doing that and the delta staff just seem to look away while they drizzle their ketchup over the place.

I don't know why they don't have food, I flew UC from BOS and the NW lounge doesnt have food but they did bring some in for the VS pax

I guess the problem with shared lounges is that anyone in the lounge can eat the food..this was the case in Boston as NW passengers certainly dug in!!

I think the Delta lounge @MCO is OK its quite large and not that busy..

only 2 very slow PC's though..
