That's what happens when you spend your life immersed within the internet. Let it be a warning to all!

LOL :D

Sadly, i kinda understand him ... he's talking about the scripting involved with writing the pages, CSS are Cascading style Sheets, used for writing HTML.

I gather accessibility is reffering to W3C Web content guidelines??

(i need to get out more)

Accessibility refers to the ability of a site to work for all users, including those who may have visual, cognitive or motor function disabilities.

The Disability Discrimination Act now makes it an offence to discriminate against disabled people by failing to offer them the same level of service as others, hence the need to make websites that sell things accessible.

In practice this means making the site easy to use with screenreaders, ensuring that the pages are well laid out, use CSS rather than tables for design purposes, have alternative text specified for any images and so on. For more information see http://www.w3.org/WAI/.

VS are to be congratulated on getting their own house in order; unfortunately there are still plenty of companies that need to do much more to ensure that they serve all internet users.

I really like the new look. Shame we can't pre-order duty free on line though.

I've been suggesting this for a while now - seems like it's on the "wish list" at VS, but it seems there are some logistical problems with it. Maybe with the revamped website, it'll get more priority (and I did mention it to FC again last Thursday when I was praising the revamp :D)

Cheers
