Is the Flying Club CC the best way of racking up miles? I currently transfer all my Amex reward opitns into Virgin airmiles but am fed up with payign £275 to have my Amex card. I think £80 for the Virgin CC seems better, but are there others that I should be considering instead (BMI has been mentioned?) that can get you even more points that convert at a better ratio into Virgin airmiles?
Thanks!

Pay the £80 fee VSCC 2 miles for ever pound spent you will soon rack up the miles. My amex gets very little use at the 1 MRP per pound unless a good offer comes up like the recently finished triple miles on supermarket and petrol spend.

If you want 2 miles per £1 on amex VSFC have an offer. the 2 miles for £1 is for VS related spending otherwise its 1 mile per £1
the first years £95 fee is also waived.

I have the £80 FCCC from MBNA as that gets 2 miles per pound regardless:D

Just a little extra information on this.

I currently have a standard non Virgin Atlantic credit card with 1000 membership points on it. Spoke to the members shop about it and I can't transfer those to FC as it isn't a VS credit card. However I can apply for another card, a VS one with the 1mile to a pound or 2miles to a pound with fee and transfer my current members points to that new card to be transferred to my FC account along with the 2000 or 4000 bonus miles.

This makes me a very happy bunny.

Make sure your Flying Club credit card is fully up and running and your old 'standard Virgin card' is finished with and paid up before your do the 'points dump' across to your FC card.

I was told that there is only the facility to do one points dump and any points acquired on the old card after the dump may become useless.
