hi guys

this is a strange question for you all! sorry! What happens on Inaugural flights with Virgin do they have special things organised for the first flight, or has anyone been on the first flight of any route? I got an invitation today to go on one and am not sure what it is all about.

any informaiton would be great!

hope you are all well

I guess at the very least you'll get to fly with SRB and a bunch of other VIPs. Maybe a speech or two at either end, a photo op, and perhaps good hospitality.

Where are you going?

Hi Jon,

Thats good news, you are very lucky. You must let us have all the details when you see the invites. Hey, you could even post a scan of one to the site so we lesser mortals can see what one looks like!

Jon

Absolutely agree with what Bazz says - it'd be great if you could share the information from the invites with us!

Cheers

Michael

There are normally two inaugural flights, one is normally around a week before and is with SRB, press and special invited guests, the flight has lots of entertainment on board and once arrival there is a big party.

The second one is the first revenue flight for full fare paying passengers!

Thanks Declan, so Jon must be lucky enough to get a ticket for the VIP flight then as they don't send invites for revenue flights.
