Hi Guys,

Off the back of the Tier Point Guide that I put together, I thought it may be a good idea to put some logical flowcharts together to try and make it clearer.

I plan to do one to explain the Tier Points in relation to attaining and maintaining status. To start off with though, I am putting together some flows around miles and Tier Points for VS and partner flights - the information is normally spread across multiple documents and locations, so I ahve tried to pull the relevant stuff together.

So please take a look and let me know if they are useful, if they are, I will finish the other partner flows off as I have about 5 done so far. If they are useful, I'm sure pix could put together some clever linking system so you don't have to open the huge document and scroll through it, just a drop down box for the airline you need to see.

This is the Virgin Tier Points and Mileage earning flow chart

There is the current draft of the Partners flow in the other post below, which shows the information about Tier Points and Miles in realtion to qualifying classes and also the point requirments for a reward flight.

Any feedback good or bad is appreciated!

Thanks,
Richard

Well here is where I have got to so far, gives me something to do over the bank holiday... :)

I think you'll now see why we would need the drop down box, to choose the relevant partner airline!

Thanks,
Richard

Richard

The drop down box for Partner airlines does seem the best way forward.

As always, what you have done here is most helpful - particularly for those who are looking to make the most of any TP opportunities whan travelling with airlines other than VS.

Many thanks for your efforts

Excellent idea and great work so far Richard, like the others I agree a drop down box has to be the way to go.

Well after a few hours, the document is now complete!

It will be now tidied up into a more convenient web page format with the suggested drop down box to choose the Partner that you need to see the information for.

BA have a silverbook with lots of information like this in it (if anyone would like to see an example, let me know!:)) - so I thought it best to come up with our own version, so it now has a name too, the flows and the TierPoint Guide will be merged together to create the 'JulietBook'. I want to make it a really useful reference guide for members of FC - the normal guides are good, but these will have more detail.

Thanks,
Richard
