Hello everyone, We are off to Antigua, The Beach Club at St James on saturday 4th september, have been reading forums for sometime and have taken plunge to register. Has anyone any hints on how to calm my nerves before flight, I am not worried about the flight, its the airport, went to Kenya a couple of years ago and had panic attack in airport, nearly didn't get on flight, but once I was on plane I was fine. I would be really gratefull for any help.
First of all I have moved your post from trip reports to this section, so that you will, hopefully, receive more re-assuring replies.
I am sorry to hear that your airports experiences are not pleasant ones. You will have read in the forums that there are lots of people here who do not have problems, in fact quite the opposite. Some of us, myself included enjoy the whole flying experience - even in economy

The VS website has a whole section about beating stress prior to, and during travel

Flying, as we are constantly assured., is the safest form of public transport.
Hope this helps a bit.
