My mate and I just got back from
Burning Man in the black rock desert in Nevada. If you've not heard of it before, it's a week long arts/community festival where 35,000 people camp in very harsh conditions for a week, trying to outdo each other at being creative and weird and entertaining and .... well just plain different

Anyhow I digress.
We did a little performance on a couple of evenings where we dragged up in silver lamŽ flight attendent outfits, and hauled a trolley around from campsite to campsite. We would just interrupt people doing whatever they were doing, make them sit down and give us their attention, then give them a safety demo. It was quite a lot funnier (IMHO) and ruder (naturally) than the kind of thing you'd see on real flights. We even had safety cards to give to people, as well as handing out sweets and doing a drinks service. And I hate to admit it but it was also great fun! Was received well by most poeple too! Hope the crew on this site dont take any offence, but I guess that safety demos are kind of a legendary thing eh

There was even a video taken of us doing this. Which might get posted onto a website at some point
