Just recieved the new "improved" Virgin Atlantic E;mail
On a 17inch plasma screen it is totally unreadable!
Still, at least they give you an option to go to another site if you cannot read it, so I take it that they are aware that this can happen.
the readable site is
http://s2.e-srv.net/pages/vaa/email_updates.html

for those not yet in posession of the e:mail

Alan

Got the email this morning and didn't have a problem reading it - must be my old fashioned monitor :)

Too right, I still count with my fingers and toes - but then that probably explains a lot :D

Cheers,

Sahajesh.

How come I never get email from Virgin Atlantic although I have signed up for them? My profile says that I am signed up but if it were not for you guys I would never know if any were sent

As a guess could it be you are registered in Ireland?

Also the mail today was not from the Flying Club base, the reason I say this is on the flying club data base I have to have my full name, but whenever I enter a comp or respond to a survey I do so in my nickname and this came addressed to my nick name, so you might need register/enter one of the competitions?

Just a thought

Don't see why that should make a difference. [:(]

I opted out of e-mail comms like that, prefer to get the paper magazine instead which is much nicer!

BTW - Did you mean LCD screen Alan, as I've not seen a 17" Plasma. The message displays fine on my 19" LCD's at home. And if anyone is in the market for a new LCD monitor: http://uk.insight.com/apps/productprese ... 4&src=WL82 - 19" for £300!

Thanks,
Richard

I though that plasmas below a certain size aren't possible [?]. And 17" would be below that size, whatever it may be..

Anyway, yes thats a pretty cheap LCD, not bad at all. I've been chugging along with a 15" LCD for ages now. It was 500 quid when I got it, and that was when normal prices were 6/700 so that's how long i've had it..:)

Sorry Richard, I have had a couple of long, long days without much sleep in between :-(
I meant LCD (Philips 170C running at 1280 X 1024 32 bit)
