T1 to T3

Please excuse my ignorance.
I'm arriving from Belfast (with BMI) at 18.45, presumably in Terminal 1.
I am connecting with the VS200 flight at 21.30 (terminal 3 ?). Just wondering how long roughly it takes to get from 1 to 3. I want to maximise my time in the lounge. Also, how long should I allow for the walk from the lounge to the stand ?
We would be checking in our luggage and getting our boarding passes in Belfast. Presumably, then, do I just head for the lounge in Heathrow or do we need to go to another Virgin desk first ?
All ready for my first TR.
Also, arrivng back on VS201 at 4.50. Belfast flight departs at 6.40. Would I have time to go to Revivals ?

Hi galgorm,

I can't advise on the transfer times as I have never transferred at LHR as I live a mere 15 miles from the place. I think I remember the MCT is quoted as 90 minutes but others will chip in, I am sure.

On your return don't forget revivals is landside at T3 so you will need to clear security again for you onward flight, you may be hard pressed with only 1 hour 50 minutes between you flights.

Just relax on the clubhouse, and VS will announce flight details, and if any delay etc to you - there's no need to look at tv screens to check gate details etc - just relax!

Once they call your flight, finish off your gin & tonic, and wander to the gate, and you'll be fine [:p];)

It's a walk I know well - should take you around 15 minutes max

I collected my bags in T1 and went and checked in in T3 (walked between the terminals). Within 20 minutes of stepping off my BMI flight I was in the VS lounge.
