Just received an email from Virgin Mobile offering upto 100 trade-in value for your old/un-wanted (but still working) handsets.

Link

If your an existing V Mobile PAYG/Contract/pay monthly customer you get airtime credit applied to your account based on the value of your old handset. If your on another network they will send you a new V Mobile SIM and then apply the credit to that.

The handset has to have an intact display, be able to switch on & off and not be water damaged (check the sticker on your battery, if it's red it's got wet). V Mobile will send you a pre-paid pack to post it back to them and once checked, they will credit your account. Obviously they will check the handset is not stolen as well.

I'm trading in my old Sony Ericsson K750i which gives me 24.00 air time credit [y]

You can trade in multiple handsets too.

I know there are web sites out there ofering trade-in value for old handsets, but having checked, V Mobile seem to be offering the highest value for a trade-in.

Regards

My brother is trading in his Sony Ericsson T630 and checked how much Virgin Mobile were offering; £6 airtime what a joke! Needless to say he is taking it to Cex where he will be able to get £25 cash (Grade A condition).

You could have got up to £39 cash for yours at Cex.

Orange are doing similar, my daughter has just traded her old handset in for a £6pm credit on her account for the next 18 months. Pretty good deal me thinks ?

Cheers
