I remember someone asking for the current Clubhouse menu a week or so back. As I had a while in there this week, [8D] I thought I would copy down the current offerings. I have only done the non-deli items.
Breakfast Up to 11.30am
Full English breakfast: traditional breakfast with choice of eggs, served with grilled back & streaky bacon, sausage, field mushroom, plum tomato and beans.
Eggs Benedict - poached eggs on English muffin with char grilled Kassler ham and hollandaise sauce.
American Pancakes served with vanilla cream and seasonal berries.
Creamy Scrambled eggs on toasted brioche served with smoked salmon and micro cress.
Grilled sausage or bacon roll.
Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel.
A La Carte after 11.30am.
All Day Breakfast:
Eggs Benedict - as above
Scrambled eggs and salmon - as above
Grilled bacon or sausage roll - as above.
Soups and salads:
Cream of wild mushroom soup
Oxtail broth with Puy lentils and basil
Smoked chicken and avocado salad with sweet and sour cucumber, dill and cr_me fraiche
Salmon and spinach fish cakes served with pea pur_e and caper mayonnaise.
Bigger bites
Rigatoni pasta with boccoccini mozzarella, olives and braised tomato.
Seared Sea Bass, truffle risotto and citrus butter foam served with tossed green vegetables
Slow cooked duck leg served with garlic mashed potato and spiced red wine sauce.
Braised lamb and chorizo sausage served with white beans, leeks and crispy brioche crumbs.
Chicken tikka masala served with basmati rice, naan bread and mango chutney.
Shepherds pie - traditionally cooked with minced beef and lamb topped with creamy mashed potato.
The ubiquitous and V-Flyer favourite - Clubhouse Burger with bacon. cheddar cheese and mayonnaise served in a warm bap with tomato gherkins and onions.
Naughty but Nice
Apple and ginger crumble served with vanilla cream or fresh custard.
Rich chocolate mousse served with caramelised banana and toffee syrup.
Fresh fruit salad served with red berry sorbet.
Selection of ice cream.
In addition to the above, there is a great selection of foods at the deli all day and, of course, for those who don't like solids before flying, the bar is open and well stocked. [;)][}:)]
